What is the Lazy Cat Lounge?

The Lazy Cat Lounge is a cat cafe, where cat-lovers of all kinds can visit and interact with the cats we have housed in our lounge. Our kitties spend their days playing, sleeping, or relaxing in our lounge, which has a large variety of cat towers, toys, and other amenities that entertain them all day. The Lazy Cat Lounge also offers adoptions too! Adoption inquiries can be asked during a visit or over the phone and through our email.

How does it work?

If you’d like to visit our lounge, walk-ins are welcome! However, we cannot guarantee that a spot will be available, so we recommend making a reservation online.

If you wish to book a visiting spot, please go to our “Book Now” page and read through our reservation information before selecting a booking option. Next, select one of our booking options with a date and time that you’d like to visit. Finally, finish up by filling out your reservation information and payment details, and we’ll see you soon at your reservation!

Why do I need to sign a waiver?

In order to keep all of our kitties safe, we ask that all guests sign a waiver acknowledging that you will be visiting with live animals. All guests under 18 must have a guardian sign the waiver before you can enter our lounge. Our waiver can be signed in person before your reservation, and you can view our waiver on our “Book Now” page.

Where do your cats come from?

The Lazy Cat Lounge partners with the My New Cat Rescue, an animal shelter that sprays, neuters, microchips, and vaccinates all of our kitties! My New Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization that relies on foster care to find new homes for homeless cats. You can learn more about My New Cat Rescue at their website, www.mynewcat.org.

Can I bring a stray cat here?

Although we’d be happy to add another cat to our family, it’s not safe for our other kitties that are currently living in our lounge. We recommend you contact a local animal shelter that is equipped to take care of stray animals.

Will I get scratched?

It’s a possibility that a guest may get scratched from one of our cats, which is why you must sign our waiver before entering our lounge. Should a scratch happen, we provide band aids, antibiotic cream, and hand sanitizer in case of any accidents. We recommend the following rules to make the most of your stay:

Supervise children at all times.
Please do not pick up any cats that are eating, drinking, or using their litter box!
Treat the kitties with care. Do not roughhouse with the cats or around the cats, ever!
Please take note of our kitties’ body language. If they are hissing and/or have their ears down (like an airplane), they may be irritated and frustrated!

Do you offer food & drinks?

Yes! We offer a variety of pre-packaged food and drinks from local bakery Lacie's Sweet Treats! Below is a list of the refreshments we provide for a small extra charge during your stay:
